Based on 814 reviewsA Taste of Vietnam in Sherwood Park is widely appreciated for its authentic Vietnamese flavors, consistent food quality, and satisfying portion sizes. Customers frequently highlight the quick and attentive service, even during busy periods, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant's interior is noted as clean and inviting, although some guests mention it could benefit from improved lighting and acoustic treatments due to echoes from hard surfaces. While the location and parking present minor challenges, the overall positive feedback centers on well-prepared dishes and courteous staff, making it a favored spot for both regular patrons and new visitors seeking quality Vietnamese cuisine.
My family and I have been coming here for years. A while ago, I have brought a couple of friends with me for lunch and they were pleased with the food and suggested that we come here again. The food is tasty and the quality is consistent. Service is quick but not rushed.
I like this place nice and clean the food is good the portions very satisfying pricing is great. Over all great experience. But there is draw back the location is hard to get into and the parking lot is not that great. The restaurant inside is nice and clean, however, it's always dark and need some acoustics it's always loud because of the hard painting and hard walls I think using some soft painting can help reducing the noise. The staff is super friendly and nice. I recommend this place if you are looking for good Vietnamese food in Edmonton this is one of the best places to have a good experience.
We got the Bun Bo Hue and Assorted Meat Satay. The satay was really good, the soup was flavorful and lots of meat. Bun Bo Hue was good, but not outstanding when compared to other Vietnamese restaurants.
Really good food. I went there solo during the lunch rush and despite the restaurant being full I got my food only minutes after I ordered it an it was fresh and well-made. Kind staff and quick service. Definitely very lovely
It’s been awhile since I had eaten here and the flavour and tastes are still great. The servers were polite and courteous. The kitchen does a great job with there Vietnamese dishes!
Great food. Delicious in fact. Very rude servers. The atmosphere sucks. Look out the windows to a concrete wall! Cover the windows. Learn some manners PLEASE SMILE ONCE!!!!
I had the ultimate foodie happy accident when I stumbled upon a great Vietnamese restaurant. After a long day at work, I was starving and decided to grab dinner at a nearby Japanese restaurant, but it was full, I mean, it's Saturday night what was I thinking?! We ended up at Taste of Vietnam instead, which was a fantastic! The ginger beef and lemongrass pork with rice were delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. I would definitely go back and try more dishes. It was also busy, but the restaurant was much larger, so there was more than enough room to accommodate us.
